Do you take insurance?

Yes—for in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, we currently accept Kern Family Health Care. All other services, such as psychological evaluations, counseling, and educational consulting, are billed as private pay or are offered through school district contracts.

What services are not covered by insurance?

What types of services do you provide?

RIZO offers four core service areas

  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA):
    In-home behavioral therapy for children and families.

  • Educational Services:
    Psycho-educational evaluations, 504 plan support, school consulting, and district contracts.

  • Counseling & Therapy:
    Individual mental health counseling for children, teens, and adults—in schools or in-office. 

  • Diagnostic Services
    We also provide diagnostic services (ADHD, Autism, Depression, etc.)

Do you work with school districts?

Yes! We partner with school districts across Kern County to provide: Psycho-Educational Evaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), 504 and IEP support, Staff training, and systems consulting. We serve families throughout Bakersfield and surrounding rural areas, offering:
